It was a gorgeous day, two years ago when Talia and Donnie got married at the historic White Dove Chapel here in Wendell, NC. I was so happy for them and excited about their wedding, reception at The Angus Barn in Raleigh, their honeymoon in Florida and their future together. I knew I was not losing my daughter, but gaining a son I love dearly, too. Of course I cried when Bobby walked Talia down the aisle, but they were happy tears. I do believe they are a match made in heaven and always pray for God to bless and keep them. I’m especially thankful for the time they spend with us and happy memories we make together.
