The groundwork of anything must be strong in order to endure. If the foundation is weak, it’s likely to fall. Alternatively, if strong it will withstand storms, opposition, and trials.
All of us will experience trying times – that’s for sure! It may be illness, work demands, financial burdens, sin, prejudice, family conflict, loss of a loved one…the list could go on and on. All of the above can be overwhelming and lead to more problems unless you go back to the foundation or moral base.
My parents gave me the very best foundation in a loving, devoted, Christian family. When I pray, I always thank God for giving me to them. Mom is my angel and Daddy has been my best friend for a very long time! I know a lot of people haven’t had the upbringing my two sisters and I had, but if you’re reading this it’s not too late to lay a strong, solid foundation to build on.
Seek Christ, praise Him, pray and live life filled with the Holy Spirit. Then you will always have a helper, friend, advocate, supporter, comforter and strengthener.
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another helper, that He may abide with you forever. John 14:16
